Located Graslin neighborhood on the outskirts to the center and all citizens of Nantes near the Museum of Natural History, the museum is a building Dobrée original architecture and rich collections. Conceived by philanthropist Thomas Dobrée (1810-1895), it belongs to the General Council of Loire-Atlantique.
